Job summary

Quest Global is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer in India (Bangalore/Hyderabad) with minimum 2 years of experience in Rail/Loco/Train design. You will develop basic 3D concepts in CATIA V5 and refine them into detailed models used in vehicle interiors and structures.

You will position models within the car architecture, hand them over to Designers for validation, update remarks, and generate accurate 2D drawings. Expect rigorous internal QA to deliver defect-free results.

Qualifications

• Knowledge on rolling stock design/Loco CAB Design / Train interiors Design
• Ability to independently develop detailed concepts
• Ability to support for validation of assemblies, various installations on Loco CAB Design / Train interiors Design
• Well versed with GD&T
• Hands-on experience on CATIA V5 and PLM platform like Enovia to create 3D models, 2D drawings and product structure
• Knowledge on Rail industry standards for various regions

Responsibilities

• Create basic 3D concepts in CATIA V5 based on information given by team lead
• Finalize 3D models in detail
