Job summary

TrioVision Composite Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, India, is seeking a Design Engineer (CATIA-V5) with 1–6 years of mechanical design experience. The role requires working onsite in Kadapa and passing a CATIA-V5 design test at the office.

The candidate will lead tooling and product design from concept through production, ensuring DFMs and manufacturing feasibility, and will collaborate with production, quality, planning and projects teams.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Mechanical/Industrial/Production engineering; relevant degree.
• 1–6 years of experience with CATIA-V5 and product design.
• Experience in New Product Development and manufacturing feasibility.

Responsibilities

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Lead tooling and product design from concept to final release.
• Drive New Product Development (NPD) from concept, prototype and validation to production.
• Create and review 3D models, 2D drawings, assemblies and BOMs using CATIA.
• Ensure Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and manufacturing feasibility.
• Plan and complete design activities as per project timelines and milestones.
• Conduct design reviews and identify technical, quality and manufacturing risks.
• Guide and support Design Engineers and Junior Engineers.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Planning, Purchase and Projects teams.
• Participate in customer meetings and technical discussions.
• Manage engineering changes, revisions and design documentation.
• Support prototype development, testing, trials and validation.
• Resolve design-related NCRs and production issues through technical problem-solving.
• Optimize material usage, design, cost and manufacturing processes.
• Implement Lessons Learned, Kaizen and continuous design improvements.
• Monitor key design KPIs including FTR, NCR closure, material consumption and project plan vs. actual.
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications, industry standards and internal procedures.
• Take ownership of critical tooling and NPD projects through design, validation and production release.

DESIGN ENGINEER(CATIA-V5)-04

B.E/B. Tech/M.E/M.Tech Mechanical/Industrial/Production engineering with 1-6 years experience in working with DESIGN software-CATIA-V5.

Plant/Work Location: KADAPA, Andhra Pradesh, India.

Note: candidates need to clear the DESIGN(CATIA-V5) test at the office. This is Onsite Job, candidate has to Move to Kadapa and work here for minimum 2 years, all interviews(only face to face takes place at Triovision Composite Technologies Pvt Ltd-Kadapa.
