Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelors in Mechanical/Production or equivalent.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks).
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
• Familiarity with ERP systems is an added advantage.
• 1-5 years of relevant engineering experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create assembly drawings, part drawings, and documentation per company standards.
• Update and revise drawings per engineering changes; rename files per new nomenclature system.
• Upload and maintain drawing records in the ERP system for accurate data management.
• Assist in new product development by supporting design activities, concept generation, and prototype validation.
• Coordinate with suppliers for prototype manufacturing ensuring design intent and quality.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and purchase to resolve design-related issues.
• Ensure all design work complies with company standards, specifications, and quality guidelines.
• Provide technical support for ongoing projects and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Position Title: Junior Design Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Design Engineer to join our team. The role involves preparing and updating technical drawings, supporting new product development, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate product development. This position is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to innovative engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Create assembly drawings, part drawings, and related documentation in accordance with company standards.
• Update and revise existing drawings as per engineering changes, and rename files as per the new nomenclature system.
• Upload and maintain drawing records in the ERP system to ensure accurate data management.
