Job summary

Enmac Systems in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, is seeking a seasoned HVAC Project Engineer to lead on-site execution of ducting, piping, chiller erection, and chilled-water systems, ensuring safety, quality, and timely handover.

You will monitor progress, coordinate with vendors and clients, manage commissioning, prepare as-built drawings and O&M manuals, and mentor junior engineers to ensure efficient project completion. This role requires strong documentation and proactive risk management.

Qualifications

• Experience in site supervision or project execution in HVAC preferred.
• Strong coordination with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
• Excellent documentation and safety compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and drive status and progress of HVAC projects on site.
• Coordinate ducting, piping, chiller erection, and chilled-water system works.
• Organize site execution activities including erection, installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Ensure projects meet timelines, quality, and safety standards.
• Conduct site inspections, progress meetings, and provide status updates with risks and corrective actions.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors for alignment of scope and deliverables.
• Prepare and manage handover documentation including as-built drawings, O&M manuals, commissioning reports, and vendor records.
• Maintain daily logs, site diaries, progress reports, and material records.
• Identify execution challenges and implement solutions to avoid delays.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and site teams.
