Job summary

Advent Talent Solutions in India is seeking a senior cloud architect to translate complex customer workloads into a practical cloud migration roadmap. You will design IAM, networking, storage, and compute architectures for secure, scalable environments.

You will lead containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes (GKE), work with SQL/NoSQL and big data tech, automate infrastructure with CI/CD, and collaborate across teams to deliver robust cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• Understand complex customer software workloads and define a migration roadmap to the Cloud.
• Experience in IAM, networking, storage and compute infrastructure for cloud solutions.
• Experience in architecting software or infrastructure for scalable distributed systems.
• Advanced networking including Linux, SDN, network virtualization, and load balancing for PaaS/IaaS.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and Big Data tech.
• Experience with CI/CD, Java, Python, Chef, Puppet, Ansible.
• Experience automating infrastructure provisioning, DevOps and CI/CD.
• Awareness of open-source servers (NGINX, RabbitMQ, Redis, Elasticsearch) and containerization with Kubernetes (GKE).

Job description

• Experience in understanding a complex customers existing software workloads and the ability to define a technical migration roadmap to the Cloud.


• Experience in Identity and Access Management, networking, storage and compute infrastructure (servers, databases, firewalls, load balancers) for architecting/Implementing/maintaining cloud solutions in virtualized environments.


• Experience in architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable and secure distributed systems.


• Experience in advanced areas of networking, including Linux, software-defined networking, network virtualization, open protocols, application acceleration and load balancing, DNS, virtual private networks and their application to PaaS and IaaS technologies


• Experience with Relational Databases, NoSQL Databases and/or Big Data technologies (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, Spark, Hadoop, other Open Source).


• Experience with application development concepts and technologies (e.g. CI/CD, Java, Python, Chef, Puppet, Ansible)


• Experience automating infrastructure provisioning, DevOps, and/or continuous integration/delivery.


• Understanding of open-source server software (such as NGINX, RabbitMQ, Redis, Elasticsearch) Expert knowledge of containerization and container orchestration technologies such as Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).Role & responsibilities
