Job summary

Saint Gobain India is seeking a skilled electrical maintenance engineer to ensure reliable operation of electrical systems and equipment at the Bhiwadi site. You will oversee maintenance and operation of HT/ LT switchgears, transformers, motors, SF6, gensets, cranes, and UPS, and implement planned and preventive maintenance.

Key tasks include breakdown analysis, CAPA, stocking spare parts, adherence to PM schedules, and 5S practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical maintenance and operation of electrical systems and equipment.
• Knowledge of LOTO, work permits and safety compliance.
• Experience with preventive, predictive maintenance and CAPA processes.
• Strong diagnostic and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and operation of electrical system and equipment at the site.
• Operation and maintenance of HT & LT switchgears, SF6, transformers, motors, EOT cranes, UPS, and batteries.
• Maintenance of gensets and electrical panels; planning spare parts for uninterrupted operation.
• Implementing planned, preventive and predictive maintenance to optimize machineavailability and achieve zero downtime.
• Perform breakdown analysis, CAPA and develop corrective/preventive actions for recurring failures.
• Adhering PM schedules, maintaining 5S, and ensuring safety compliance (LOTO and permits).
• Contribute to WCM culture through TEI initiatives.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for maintenance and operation of electrical system and equipments.
• Operation and maintenance of switchyard, HT & LT switchgears, equipments like SF6, transformer, motors, EOT cranes, battery, battery charge & UPS.
• Maintenance and operation of HT and LT equipment like motor, transformer, crane, battery, battery charger, UPS.
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of Starters -DOL, Start Delta, Auto Transformer starters / Soft Starters, Variable speed drives
• Maintenance of Gensets, Electrical panels etc.,
• Implementing of planned, preventive & predictive maintenance practices to optimize machines availability with constant endeavors to realize ZERO downtime
• Planning spare parts & consumables for un-interrupted working of the machines
• Breakdown analysis and CAPA
• Develop Corrective and Preventive actions of repeated equipment failures
• Adhering PM schedules
• Knowledge of LOTO, work permit and ensuring 100% compliance
• Maintaining 5S in the area
• Champion and implement safe working in his area
• Contributing to the WCM Culture through various activities & TEI initiatives.
