Job summary

Axium Global is hiring a BIM Designer MEP to develop and maintain detailed BIM models and documentation for Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing and FF systems on international projects. Qualifications

• Diploma / BE / BTech in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil/MEP-related engineering.
• ITI/NCTVT certified candidates with relevant MEP/BIM experience may also be considered.
• 2 to 7 years of relevant BIM modelling/design experience.
• Hands-on experience with Revit MEP and BIM software.
• Good understanding of MEP coordination and BIM workflows.
• Knowledge of international project standards and UK/USA/Australia/UAE project experience is an advantage.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Prepare and update BIM models, layouts, shop drawings, construction documentation, and technical drawings.
• Coordinate MEP services with architectural, structural, and other building disciplines to minimize clashes.
• Perform clash detection, coordination, and resolution using BIM software.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and design requirements to ensure accurate modelling.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Architects, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Update BIM models based on design changes, coordination requirements, and project revisions.
• Ensure models and documentation comply with applicable project standards, codes, and client requirements.
• Support the delivery of BIM projects for international clients across multiple disciplines.

Job Description:

The BIM Designer MEP will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and coordinating detailed 3D BIM models and technical documentation for Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting (FF) systems in building projects.

The role involves working closely with MEP engineers, architects, project managers, and international clients to deliver accurate, coordinated, and clash-free BIM models in accordance with project requirements and relevant standards.

The position is Work From Home, supporting flagship projects for leading MEP design consulting firms across the UK, USA, Australia, and UAE.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed BIM models for Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting (FF) systems.

Qualification & Experience:

• Diploma / BE / BTech in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil/MEP-related engineering, or a relevant technical qualification.
• ITI/NCTVT certified candidates with relevant MEP/BIM experience may also be considered.
• 2 to 7 years of relevant experience in BIM modelling/design in one or more of the following disciplines:
  
• Electrical
• Mechanical / HVAC
• Plumbing
• Fire Fighting / Fire Protection
• Hands-on experience with Revit MEP and relevant BIM software.
• Good understanding of MEP coordination and BIM workflows.
• Knowledge of international project standards and experience working on UK/USA/Australia/UAE projects will be an advantage.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
