Turner is seeking an MEP BIM Engineer to develop and coordinate BIM models for UK-based projects from our Navi Mumbai office. You will work on HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems, ensuring clash-free, coordinated drawings and documentation in line with BEP, EIR and UK standards.

Experience in Revit MEP and Navisworks is essential, with exposure to ACC/BIM 360 and UK project delivery practices.

Job Title: MEP BIM Engineer UK Projects
Experience: 35 Years
Location: Airoli, Navi Mumbai
Project Focus: UK/Ireland - based Commercial, Residential, Healthcare & Infrastructure Projects

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and coordinate detailed MEP BIM models using Autodesk Revit for UK-based construction projects.
• Prepare coordinated 3D BIM models for Mechanical (HVAC), Electrical, Public Health (Plumbing & Drainage), and Fire Protection services.
• Perform multidisciplinary model coordination and clash detection using Navisworks Manage.
• Coordinate with UK-based architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, and project stakeholders to resolve design and construction-related clashes.
• Ensure BIM models and deliverables comply with project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEP), Employer's Information Requirements (EIR), and applicable UK BIM standards, including ISO 19650.
• Develop and maintain BIM models in accordance with UK project requirements, including appropriate Levels of Information Need.
• Prepare coordinated MEP drawings, sections, layouts, schedules, and technical documentation as per UK project requirements.
• Ensure accurate model development, quality checks, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings with UK project teams and support timely resolution of technical issues.
• Maintain model accuracy, naming conventions, file management, and information exchange protocols in line with project standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in MEP BIM modelling and coordination, preferably involving UK-based projects.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP and Navisworks Manage.
• Good understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health (MEP), and Fire Protection building services.
• Familiarity with UK BIM Framework, ISO 19650, and British Standards relevant to MEP design and coordination.
• Understanding of UK construction drawings, building services layouts, and multidisciplinary coordination practices.
• Experience in clash detection, clash resolution, model audits, and BIM quality assurance.
• Knowledge of Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows and BIM documentation standards.
• Ability to interpret UK MEP consultant drawings, design specifications, and technical requirements.
• Good communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with UK-based project teams.
• Ability to independently manage assigned BIM deliverables while meeting project deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Prior experience working on UK commercial, residential, data center, healthcare, or infrastructure projects.
• Working knowledge of UK building services standards and guidance, including relevant BS, BS EN, CIBSE, and BSRIA publications.
• Familiarity with UK project delivery stages, including the RIBA Plan of Work.
• Experience using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM 360, or other Common Data Environment platforms.
• Exposure to coordinated MEP modelling, drawing production, and BIM deliverables for UK construction projects.
