Job summary

Tata AutoComp Systems Limited in Chakan (Pune) is seeking a Design Engineer with 2–6 years of automotive experience. You will design and develop heat exchangers, create 3D models and BOMs using Creo/CATIA, and coordinate with customers and internal teams to deliver projects on time.

Role involves APQP support, DVP preparation, DFMEA execution, and collaboration with manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and customers to meet performance, cost, and schedule targets.

Qualifications

• Automotive heat exchanger design experience.
• Experience with 3D modeling and BOM creation.
• Experience coordinating with customers and internal teams.
• Familiarity with APQP, DVP, and DFMEA activities.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automotive heat exchangers including radiators, intercoolers, condensers, evaporators, heaters, and oil coolers.
• Create 3D models, drawings, and BOMs using Creo/CATIA.
• Coordinate with customers to understand technical requirements and ensure timely project delivery.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Suppliers, and Customers during product development.
• Support APQP activities and design release processes.
• Prepare Design Validation Plans (DVP) and conduct DFMEA activities.
• Ensure designs meet performance, quality, cost, and timeline requirements.
• Participate in prototype development, testing, validation, and engineering change management.
