Job summary

Tata AutoComp Systems Limited in Pune is seeking a Design Engineer to design and develop automotive heat exchangers and related components, using Creo or CATIA. You will ensure precision, meet delivery timelines and collaborate with cross-functional teams in the Design Engineering department.

Experience 2–6 years in mechanical design, BE/B.Tech is required, ME/MTech preferred. Knowledge of PLM, DFMEA, DVP and APQP is a plus.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• ME/M.Tech in Design or Thermal Engineering preferred.
• 2–6 years of relevant experience in mechanical design.

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our Design Engineering team at Chakan-1. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design and development of automotive heat exchangers and related components, ensuring precision, timely delivery, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prior exposure to Heat Exchangers, Cooling Systems, or HVAC is an added advantage.
2. Proficiency in CAD tools: Creo or CATIA
3. Familiarity with PLM systems
4. Experience with DFMEA and DVP preparation
5. Coordinate design release activities in line with APQP processes.
