Position: Copyeditor – Advertising & Marketing Content

Experience: 1+ Years

Location: Lucknow

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, edit, and refine high-quality copy for advertising and marketing platforms, including campaigns, brochures, pamphlets, catalogues, websites, emailers, newsletters, and banners.
• Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, positioning, and communication objectives, with a strong focus on clarity and persuasion.
• Review and enhance copy for impact, readability, and conversion effectiveness, not limited to grammar and proofreading.
• Collaborate closely with design and marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of content with visual elements in campaigns.
• Conceptualize and polish campaign messaging, taglines, and short-form content suited for advertising formats.
• Maintain consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all communication channels.
• Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality benchmarks.
• Incorporate feedback from internal stakeholders and refine content accordingly.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in copywriting/copyediting, preferably in advertising, marketing, or agency environments.
• Strong command of the English language with expertise in editing for tone, clarity, and engagement.
• Demonstrated ability in creative and marketing-oriented writing, including short-form and campaign content.
• Understanding of brand communication, audience targeting, and call-to-action (CTA) writing.
• High attention to detail with strong proofreading and editing skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Basic understanding of design principles and content layout to collaborate effectively with creative teams.

Preferred:

• Candidates with hands-on experience in advertising campaigns, print marketing content, or agency work will be strongly preferred.
• Exposure to content that drives engagement or conversions (ads, campaigns) is a significant advantage.
