Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Language Coach and Business English & Communication Trainer to help employees strengthen their English language proficiency, business communication, and professional presence.
The role will focus on improving employees ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and effectively in workplace situations, including verbal communication, written communication, client interactions, meetings, presentations, and professional conversations.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Business English, language coaching, communication skills, pronunciation, grammar, and professional communication, along with the ability to assess individual learning needs and provide personalized coaching.
Key Responsibilities
1. Language & Communication Training
- Deliver engaging Business English and professional communication training to employees at different proficiency levels.
- Conduct training on:
- Business English
- Grammar and vocabulary
- Pronunciation and clarity
- Sentence construction
- Listening and comprehension
- Speaking fluency
- Professional writing
- Email and business correspondence
- Presentation skills
- Meeting and discussion skills
- Telephone and virtual communication
- Help employees transition from conversational English to professional workplace communication.
2. Individual Language Coaching
- Conduct individual and small-group coaching sessions based on identified communication gaps.
- Assess employees language proficiency and create personalized development plans.
- Provide constructive feedback on grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, fluency, tone, and sentence structure.
- Coach employees to communicate with greater confidence, clarity, and professionalism.
- Track individual progress and provide periodic feedback.
3. Business Communication
- Train employees on effective communication with clients, customers, managers, peers, and global stakeholders.
- Develop employees ability to communicate appropriately across different business situations.
- Coach employees on:
- Professional tone and etiquette
- Assertive communication
- Active listening
- Asking effective questions
- Clarifying information
- Handling difficult conversations
- Explaining complex information clearly
- Giving and receiving feedback
- Cross-cultural communication
4. Assessment & Skill Evaluation
- Conduct language and communication assessments to identify proficiency levels and development areas.
- Develop assessment tools, role plays, simulations, and practical exercises.
- Evaluate improvement through pre- and post-training assessments.
- Maintain training and coaching records and report progress to stakeholders.
5. Training Content & Program Development
- Develop and customize training content based on business requirements and employee skill gaps.
- Create practical learning activities, role plays, simulations, case studies, and workplace scenarios.
- Continuously improve training programs based on learner feedback and performance data.
- Partner with operations and leadership teams to identify communication challenges and training opportunities.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Linguistics, Education, Communication, or a related field.
- Certification in TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, DELTA, Train-the-Trainer, or a comparable language/communication qualification is preferred.
- Relevant certification in Business English or communication coaching is an advantage.
Experience
- 3–5+ years of experience in Business English, language training, communication training, language coaching, or corporate training.
- Experience working in BPO, ITES, customer service, corporate, or multinational environments is preferred.
- Experience coaching employees who interact with international clients/customers is an advantage.
