Job summary

Mentorinfocomm is seeking an experienced CCTV Engineer to join our team in Chennai. You will install, configure, test, and commission CCTV systems at client locations, ensure remote monitoring setup, and perform regular maintenance while coordinating with customers and internal teams.

The role requires 2+ years of CCTV experience, strong IP/analog CCTV knowledge, DVR/NVR, IP cameras, and PoE switch expertise, plus willingness to travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in electronics, electrical, CS, IT or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on CCTV installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of IP and analog CCTV systems.
• Experience with DVR, NVR, IP cameras, PoE switches and CCTV accessories.
• Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP).
• Willingness to travel to client locations.

We are looking for an experienced and technically skilled CCTV Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and support of CCTV surveillance systems at client locations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install, configure, test, and commission CCTV surveillance systems.
• Perform installation and configuration of IP cameras, DVRs, NVRs, switches, storage systems, and related security equipment.
• Configure and troubleshoot CCTV systems, including IP cameras, network connectivity, recording, and remote monitoring.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and camera-related issues.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance and ensure CCTV systems are functioning properly.
• Perform camera alignment, focusing, cabling, termination, and testing.
• Configure remote viewing and monitoring through computers, mobile devices, and network systems.
• Troubleshoot network-related issues affecting CCTV systems.
• Conduct site visits to understand requirements and provide appropriate technical solutions.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
• Prepare installation reports, service reports, and other technical documentation.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned installation and service activities.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
