Job summary

Vinyas Innovative Technologies Ltd in Mysuru is seeking a cable harness assembler to join our production team. You will read drawings and wiring diagrams to assemble harnesses, perform soldering and testing, and ensure quality workmanship.

The role requires careful handling of tools and adherence to safety standards. The position emphasizes accuracy in production records, collaboration with Production and Quality teams, and strict adherence to 5S and ESD safety practices to maintain high-quality

Responsibilities

• Perform cable and wire harness assembly as per drawings, work instructions and specifications.
• Carry out wire cutting, stripping, crimping, terminal insertion and connector assembly.
• Perform soldering and cable dressing/routing as required.
• Use hand tools, crimping tools and other assembly equipment safely and correctly.
• Read and understand wiring diagrams, cable schedules and harness drawings.
• Conduct continuity and basic electrical testing of cable harnesses.
• Inspect harnesses for quality, workmanship, correct connections and dimensions.
• Identify and report defects, rework requirements and quality issues.
• Maintain proper 5S, ESD and safety practices at the workplace.
• Complete production records and follow defined quality and process standards.
• Coordinate with the Production and Quality teams to resolve assembly-related issues.
