Job summary

HCG Cancer Hospital in Borivali is seeking an Inpatient Billing Executive to join our hospital billing team. You will handle IPD and discharge billing, prepare and verify bills, and coordinate with Insurance, TPA, and Accounts teams to ensure accurate billing.

The ideal candidate is a graduate (B.Com preferred) with extensive experience in hospital inpatient billing, strong MS Excel skills, and good communication. Shift flexibility and willingness to work rotating shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline; preferably B.Com.
• 13 years of hospital inpatient billing experience.
• Experience in IPD billing, discharge billing, insurance coordination preferred.
• Knowledge of hospital billing software and MS Excel.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills; ability to work in shifts.

Responsibilities

• Handle inpatient (IPD) billing and discharge billing processes.
• Prepare and verify patient bills, invoices, and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with the Insurance, TPA, Cashless, and Accounts teams for billing-related activities.
• Verify room charges, investigations, procedures, pharmacy bills, and other patient services.
• Ensure accurate billing and timely completion of discharge formalities.
• Handle billing queries from patients and their relatives professionally.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with hospital billing procedures.
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Inpatient Billing Executive to join our hospital billing team. The candidate will be responsible for accurate billing, patient discharge billing, insurance coordination, and maintaining billing records as per hospital policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle inpatient (IPD) billing and discharge billing processes.
• Prepare and verify patient bills, invoices, and supporting documents.

• Verify room charges, investigations, procedures, pharmacy bills, and other patient services.

Eligibility Criteria

• Knowledge of hospital billing software and MS Excel.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in shifts, including rotational shifts, as required.
• Must be willing to work in all shifts, including night shifts.(rotational shifts)
