Job summary

Oges Solution in Chennai is seeking an embedded firmware engineer to develop software for 8/16/32-bit microcontrollers using Embedded C/C++. You will design motor-control firmware for BLDC, universal and induction motors, and implement PWM, speed control, soft start and protection features.

You will develop peripheral drivers (UART, SPI, I2C, USB, CAN), perform board bring-up, debugging, validation, and contribute to test and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded firmware using Embedded C/C++ for 8/16/32-bit microcontrollers.
• Develop motor-control firmware for BLDC, universal and induction motors.
• Implement PWM generation, speed control, soft start, overload protection and motor diagnostics.
• Develop peripheral drivers and communication protocols including UART, SPI, I2C, USB and CAN.
• Perform board bring-up, hardwarefirmware integration, debugging and validation.
• Use IDEs and debugging tools such as STM32CubeIDE, Keil, MPLAB, JTAG and logic analysers.
• Develop interrupt-driven software, state machines, RTOS-based applications and bootloaders.
• Perform unit testing, functional validation, root-cause analysis and code optimisation.
• Maintain technical documentation, version control, code reviews and MISRA C compliance.
• Support product risk assessments, DFMEA/SFMEA and applicable electrical appliance safety standards.
