Larsen & Toubro (L&T) in Pune invites an Embedded Systems Test Engineer to develop and execute manual test cases for embedded firmware and control software, with a strong focus on motor control validation.

You will work with HIL/MIL/SIL setups, use instruments like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to report findings and improve reliability.

Qualificações

• Hands-on testing of embedded firmware and control software.
• Experience with HIL validation setups and test benches.
• Strong understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers (ARM, TI C2000), and motor control.
• Proficient in UART, SPI, I2C, CAN communications.
• Excellent debugging, documentation, and cross-functional communication.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute manual test cases for embedded firmware and control software.
• Validate motor control algorithms for BLDC, PMSM, and Induction Motors including FOC, speed, torque, and position loops.
• Support Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test setups and MIL/SIL validation.
• Use lab instruments (oscilloscope, multimeter) and document results.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and clients to report findings and drive improvements.

• Embedded System Testing: Develop and execute manual test cases for embedded firmware and control software.
• Motor Control Validation: Test control algorithms for: BLDC, PMSM, and Induction Motors, Field-Oriented Control (FOC), Speed, torque, and position control loops
• Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL): Oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power analyzers, Motor dyno setups and test benches. Support HIL/MIL/SIL validation setups
• Strong understanding of embedded systems and microcontrollers (ARM, TI C2000, etc.) and Motor control systems and power electronics
• Hands-on experience with: Lab instruments (oscilloscope, multimeter, etc.).
• Understanding of communication protocols: UART, SPI, I2C, CAN
• Strong analytical and debugging skills. Excellent documentation and reporting capabilities. Effective communication with cross-functional teams and clients
