Job summary

RUDRA ENGINEERING WORKS in India seeks a detail-oriented Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, GST transactions, inventory accounting, and financial reporting using Tally ERP 9. The role covers invoicing, payable/receivable management, bank reconciliations, and cost accounting for manufacturing processes.

You will maintain ledgers, prepare monthly reports, and assist with audits, TDS, payroll accounting, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 and GST handling required.
• Experience with manufacturing cost calculations preferred.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities demanded.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting entries and ledgers in Tally ERP 9.
• Record purchases, sales, payments, receipts, journals and stock movements.
• Prepare invoices, purchase bills, debit/credit notes, and reconcile accounts payable/receivable.
• Handle GST accounting, input tax credit reconciliation, and GST returns.
• Perform bank reconciliation and cash book maintenance.
• Maintain inventory records for raw materials, WIP and finished goods.
• Assist with manufacturing cost calculations and stock valuation.
• Prepare trial balance and monthly accounting reports.
• Support TDS, payroll accounting, and audit documentation.
• Utilize MS Excel to reconcile accounting data and generate reports.

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally ERP 9.
• Record purchase, sales, payment, receipt, contra, and journal vouchers.
• Prepare and maintain sales invoices, purchase bills, debit notes, and credit notes.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Maintain supplier and customer ledgers and reconcile outstanding balances.
• Handle GST accounting, input tax credit reconciliation, and assist with GST return preparation.
• Perform bank reconciliation and cash book maintenance.
• Maintain inventory records for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
• Record material receipts, stock transfers, material consumption, and production entries.
• Assist with manufacturing cost calculations and stock valuation.
• Maintain expense records, verify bills, and track outstanding payments.
• Prepare trial balance, ledgers, and monthly accounting reports.
• Assist with TDS, payroll accounting, statutory compliance, and audit documentation.
• Use MS Excel to prepare reports and reconcile accounting data.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with company accounting procedures.
