Job summary

Sarswati Buildcon is seeking an experienced accounting professional in Ahmedabad to manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate books of accounts. The role involves GST/TDS/TCS filings, audits coordination, and timely tax returns for the company and related entities.

You will lead the accounts team, prepare MIS and financial statements for decision-making, and drive budgeting and planning activities. Strong leadership and governance in accounting processes are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, and team handling roles.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts.
• Prepare and review GST, TDS, TCS, and other tax-related documents and returns.
• Coordinate and support monthly internal audits and annual external audits.
• Manage timely filing of tax returns for the company, sister concerns, and other applicable entities.
• Prepare MIS reports, financial statements, and management reports for decision-making.
• Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and other financial transactions.
• Lead and supervise the accounts team, including task allocation and performance monitoring.
• Train and guide team members to improve accounting processes and efficiency.
• Coordinate with CA, auditors, clients, banks, and internal departments as required.
• Manage account renewals and ensure timely follow-up for existing accounts.
• Maintain proper financial documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
• Prepare revenue forecasts, account reviews, and financial plans for upcoming periods.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure all accounting activities are completed accurately and within defined timelines.
• Support management in annual financial planning, budgeting, and strategic decision-making.
