Job summary

Avaloq, a Swiss wealth-tech leader, is expanding its Pune-based WAF/IAM engineering team in India. We seek a highly motivated engineer to design, configure and integrate WAF and IAM solutions for financial clients.

You will join an agile team delivering secure system configurations and supporting customer deployments. Ideal candidates bring 3–7 years of relevant experience, a CS-related degree, scripting skills (Shell/TypeScript), and strong English.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of relevant experience in security engineering or similar roles.
• University degree in CS or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience setting up Web Application Firewalls (WAF).
• Experience setting up Identity Access Management (IAM) solutions.
• Scripting experience (Shell, TypeScript).
• Open minded, team oriented and communicative.
• Strong written and spoken English.

We look for a new member of our dedicated project team setting up Web Application Firewall (WAF) and Identity and Access Management (IAM) Systems for our clients. The team is currently growing with a focus on Pune, steadily hiring Engineers. We follow an agile process, working closely within our own team but also with other related teams and clients to deliver relevant and sustainable WAF and IAM solutions.

We are looking for a highly motivated Engineer who is interested in designing and developing scalable solutions for the financial services industry.

This job represents a unique opportunity to advance your skills in the highly sought-after security engineering field and acquire banking IT experience. You will become an expert in WAF and IAM solutions and the corresponding business processes in the industry.

Your key tasks

• Drive the design and implementation of WAF and IAM software configuration and integration.
• Analyze and implement customer requirements

• Work in an Agile environment, helping to constantly improve our processes and introduce new technologies
• Provide support to other development teams
• Ensure high quality of our software via code reviews and automated testing

Required

• At least 3-7 years of experience
• University degree in computer science, business informatics, computer/electronic engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience withsetting up and configuring Web Application Firewalls.
• Experience with setting up and configuring Identity Access Management Solutions (IAM).
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Shell, TypeScript)
• Open minded, team oriented and communicative
• Eager to learn and take on new challenges
• Strong written and spoken English language skills
