Job summary

Avaloq is seeking a Software Engineer to join our global team in a hybrid role. You will deliver end-to-end solutions within Digital Platforms for our core system, leveraging banking and wealth management knowledge with a strong emphasis on customization, parameterization, and integration.

Requirements include a CS degree, 4+ years of software development experience, Oracle PL/SQL expertise, and excellent English (C1).

Qualifications

• University degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Must have at least four years of work experience in a software developer role.
• Knowledge in Oracle database architecture and PL/SQL is a must.
• Excellent analytical skills and systematic approach to problem solving.
• Able to dive quickly into complex problems, refactor, and optimize existing code.
• Willingness to learn Avaloq Script (PL/SQL based).
• Very good knowledge of English (C1 level).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and document well‑thought-out solutions within the team’s responsibilities addressing customer requirements.

• Closely collaborate with the product owner, business analysts, and other developers.
