The incumbent will be responsible for end-to-end procurement management, vendor strategy, cost optimization, contract finalization, and ensuring timely availability of materials and services in line with project schedules and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement Strategy & PlanningDevelop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project timelines, budgets, and organizational objectives.Prepare annual and project-wise purchase plans and cash flow forecasts.Vendor Management & NegotiationIdentify, evaluate, empanel, and manage vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.Lead commercial negotiations, rate finalization, and long-term supplier agreements to achieve cost efficiencies.Material & Service ProcurementHandle procurement of construction materials, MEP items, finishing materials, and project-related services.Ensure compliance with approved specifications, BOQs, drawings, and technical requirements.Contracts & DocumentationFinalize purchase orders, work orders, rate contracts, and service agreements in coordination with legal and projects teams.Ensure adherence to contractual terms, delivery schedules, and statutory compliances.Cost Control & Value EngineeringDrive cost optimization initiatives without compromising quality or timelines.Participate in value engineering and alternate material evaluations.Coordination & Stakeholder ManagementCoordinate closely with Project, Planning, Finance, Accounts, PMC, and Site Teams.Ensure seamless material flow and resolution of supply-chain issues.Compliance & GovernanceEnsure procurement processes follow internal policies, audit requirements, and industry best practices.Maintain transparent records, MIS reports, and vendor performance evaluations.
