Job summary

Metaphor Infotech Mumbai is seeking a Director of Procurement Transformation to lead enterprise-wide Source-to-Pay (S2P) programs for US/UK clients from Bengaluru and Gurugram. You will drive end-to-end S2P implementations, provide strategic advisory to CPOs/CXOs, and lead cross-functional teams across procurement platforms including SAP Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua, and more.

Role Summary

We are hiring a Director Procurement Transformation to lead enterprise-wide Source-to-Pay (S2P) transformation programs for Fortune 500 and large global clients across the US and UK. This is a senior leadership role requiring deep hands-on implementation expertise, functional design leadership, and the ability to advise CPOs and CXOs on procurement strategy, operating models, and digital enablement.

Key Responsibilities

Source-to-Pay Implementation Expertise

• Lead comprehensive end-to-end S2P implementation projects
• Demonstrate deep knowledge of S2P functional processes
• Drive technology-enabled procurement transformation across the S2P lifecycle

Procurement Transformation Delivery

• Execute procurement transformation and digitalization projects across diverse sectors and geographies
• Deliver across leading procurement platforms: SAP Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua, GEP, Zycus, Jaggaer
• Lead engagements and workstreams end-to-end

Business Development & Opportunity Generation

• Lead or support initiatives to identify and advance opportunities
• Build and leverage external networks and professional relationships
• Shape commercial proposals and lead pursuit teams

Engagement Leadership

• Independently manage projects and undertake key roles including Functional Design Lead and Supplier Enablement Lead
• Manage client relationships at senior leadership levels

Functional Design & Implementation Leadership

• Lead functional design workshops including requirement gathering and fit-gap analysis
• Create project documentation including to-be process flows, business process documents, configuration workbooks, testing strategy, test scenarios and test scripts, and training materials
• Lead testing phases (SIT / UAT / Regression)
• Manage integration with client ERP systems

Recruitment & Mentorship

• Oversee recruitment processes
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members
• Foster professional growth within the team

• Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and procurement best practices

Mandatory Technical Skills

S2P Implementation

Prior experience implementing S2P solutions on cloud platforms and/or ERP platforms

Procurement Processes

Strong understanding of procurement processes and spend management principles

Platform Experience

Hands-on experience with at least one major procurement platform (SAP Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua, GEP, Zycus, Jaggaer)

Functional Design

Experience leading functional design workshops, requirement gathering, and fit-gap analysis

Documentation

Creating to-be process flows, business process documents, configuration workbooks, testing strategy, test scripts, training documents

Testing

Leading SIT / UAT / Regression testing phases
