The role requires deep FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and strong US GAAP knowledge, with a focus on transforming finance through automation, AI, and ERP initiatives while mentoring a high-performing team.

Qualifications

About the Role

We are seeking a Vice President – Finance & Operations to provide strategic and operational leadership across Finance and Operations for our India business and global entities. This is a high-impact leadership role working closely with the CFO, CEO and global executive leadership, while also engaging with investors, investment bankers, banks, auditors and other strategic stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, financial controls, profitability and global finance, along with practical US GAAP knowledge. The role will focus on building a proactive Finance organization that improves profitability, strengthens cash flow, identifies revenue leakage, supports global expansion, drives finance transformation and provides actionable insights for business decisions.

What You Will Do?

Financial Strategy & Planning

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and cash flow management. Develop financial models and scenario analysis to support strategic decisions. Monitor P&L, profitability, working capital and overall financial performance. Provide actionable financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership. Identify financial risks, opportunities and performance gaps proactively.

Profitability & Financial Controls

• Identify and reduce revenue leakage across billing, invoicing, collections and business processes. Drive cost optimization, margin improvement and stronger cash flow management. Strengthen internal controls, governance and financial processes. Move Finance from a reactive, transaction-focused model to a proactive business partnership function.

Global Finance & US GAAP

• Provide finance leadership across a global, multi-entity environment. Ensure financial processes and reporting align with US GAAP requirements. Work with US-based finance teams, CPAs, auditors, tax advisors and other external stakeholders. Support global expansion by ensuring appropriate statutory, compliance and financial requirements are addressed.

Investor & Strategic Support

• Support the CFO and CEO in discussions with investors, investment bankers, banks and strategic stakeholders. Prepare financial models, forecasts and analysis for investment and fundraising discussions. Support evaluation of strategic investments and potential acquisitions. Provide financial analysis and due diligence support for M&A opportunities where required.

Finance Transformation & Technology

• Drive automation across Finance & Operations using AI, technology and digital tools. Support and help lead the ongoing Dynamics 365 migration and finance transformation. Improve reporting, dashboards, analytics and financial visibility. Identify opportunities to standardize processes and reduce manual work.

Business Partnership & Leadership

• Partner with executive and functional leaders to align financial strategy with business objectives. Support profitability and financial discipline across NetCom Learning and the startup ecosystem. Build, mentor and develop a high-performing Finance & Operations team. Establish a culture of accountability, proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Preferred Experience

• 12+ years of progressive experience in Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Controllership and/or Business Operations. Strong experience in multinational/global organizations and multi-entity businesses. US GAAP knowledge and practical exposure is required. Exposure to US investors, bankers, auditors, CPAs or other external financial stakeholders is preferred. Experience with finance transformation, ERP implementation, automation or AI-enabled finance. M&A / financial due diligence experience is a plus. Experience in SaaS, EdTech, Technology Services, AI or Global B2B businesses is preferred. CA / CPA / CMA / MBA (Finance) preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to confidently engage with US-based stakeholders.
