Job summary

Spot Your Leaders & Consulting is seeking a strategic, commercially driven Head of Finance to lead the global finance function and partner with the CEO and executive leadership on growth initiatives.

You will be responsible for financial strategy, governance, risk management, and building a scalable, high-performing finance organization across geographies. The ideal candidate has senior finance leadership experience in tech-enabled services and a track record of value creation.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Head of Finance/ Finance Director roles.
• Experience in technology/IT services/digital engineering environments.
• Experience managing global finance operations across regions (India, North America).
• Strong expertise in P&L, budgeting, forecasting and governance.
• M&A, due diligence or fundraising experience is a plus.
• Ability to translate financial insights into strategic business decisions.
• Experience partnering with CEOs, Boards and senior leadership.

We are looking for a strategic, commercially driven head of Finance to lead the global finance function and partner with the CEO and executive leadership team in driving the company's next phase of growth.

The leader will be responsible for financial strategy, business performance, governance, risk management and value creation, while building a scalable and high-performing finance organization.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Business Partnership

• Develop and execute the organization's financial strategy in alignment with business and growth objectives.
• Partner with the CEO and leadership team on strategic decisions, investments, expansion and value-creation initiatives.
• Provide financial insights to drive sustainable growth, profitability and operational efficiency.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning and financial performance management.

P&L, Cash Flow & Commercial Finance

• Drive revenue growth, margin improvement, cost optimization and overall P&L performance.
• Oversee cash flow, liquidity, working capital and treasury management across global operations.
• Establish strong commercial finance practices around pricing, contracts, project profitability and customer economics.
• Develop and monitor financial and business KPIs across geographies and business units.

Governance & Risk

• Ensure robust financial controls, governance, compliance and risk-management frameworks.
• Oversee statutory, tax and financial reporting requirements across relevant geographies.
• Manage relationships with auditors, banking partners, tax advisors and other external stakeholders.

M&A & Strategic Initiatives

• Lead financial evaluation and due diligence for potential acquisitions, investments and strategic partnerships.
• Support deal structuring, valuation, integration planning and post-transaction performance.
• Evaluate new business models and strategic opportunities from a financial and commercial perspective.

Finance Transformation & Leadership

• Drive automation, digitization and data-driven decision-making across the finance function.
• Build scalable finance processes and systems to support the company's global growth.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing finance organization.
• Act as a trusted financial advisor to the CEO, Board and executive leadership team.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Progressive finance experience, with significant experience in Head of Finance/ Finance Director / VP Finance roles.
• Strong experience within technology, IT services, digital engineering, software or product-led organizations.
• Proven experience managing global finance operations, preferably across India and North America.
• Strong expertise in P&L management, financial planning, cash flow, governance and commercial finance.
• Experience with M&A, due diligence, investments, fundraising or strategic corporate finance will be an advantage.
• Strong understanding of the financial and commercial dynamics of technology / IT services businesses.
• Experience partnering with CEOs, Boards and senior leadership teams.
• Strong commercial orientation, strategic thinking and ability to translate financial insights into business decisions.
• Proven ability to build and lead high-performing finance teams in a growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Exposure to US GAAP / IFRS and Indian accounting and regulatory frameworks is preferred.
• Experience in a high-growth, global technology organization will be highly valued.
