Job summary

CoinDCX is seeking a senior compliance leader to design and oversee our AML/KYC and risk management program. You will act as the Principal Officer for FIU matters, coordinating investigations and ensuring regulatory adherence across fintech products.

Ideal candidate has extensive experience in compliance within financial services, blockchain knowledge, and a strong focus on trader experience, with ability to navigate a fast-paced crypto environment.

Qualifications

• Masters degree or above with regulatory/compliance background.
• 15–20 years of relevant experience in compliance/AML and risk management.
• Strong understanding of blockchain, cryptocurrency and DeFi concepts.
• Demonstrates a can-do attitude with a passion for trader experience.
• Ability to quickly adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy compliance, legal, regulatory and internal policy programs for CoinDCX.
• Understand global and domestic regulatory context to build robust AML/KYC processes for fintechs.
• Develop and operationalise the compliance and risk framework for products like lend, margin, derivatives.
• Strengthen compliance infrastructure via processes, tools, metrics and reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to grow the compliance function for CoinDCX.
• Manage AML and risk with timely escalation and root-cause analysis to resolve issues.
• Engage in investigations and coordinate with departments to implement corrective measures.
• Act as Principal Officer for FIU compliance and liaise with law enforcement.

• 15 to 20 years of relevant experience
• Good understanding of blockchain, cryptocurrency and DeFi concepts

• Be able to quickly adapt to a fast‑paced environment

You will be mining through these tasks

• Developing and deploying compliance, legal, regulatory and internal policy programs for CoinDCX.
• Understand the global and domestic regulatory context to build robust processes and frameworks around AML & KYC compliance, crypto operations and requirements for fintech companies.
• Developing and operationalising the compliance and risk management framework for complex products like lend, margin and derivatives
• Strengthen the compliance infrastructure through process and tools adoption and compliance metrics and reporting.
• Working together with all the stakeholders to build and grow the compliance function for CoinDCX.
• Managing AML and risk effectively by ensuring timely and conduct precise escalation and handling/monitoring of issues including identification of root cause and coming up with resolutions.
• Engage in investigations as required and coordinate with various departments (internal and external) to ensure implementation of appropriate corrective measures and/or preventative actions as required from time to time.
• Act as the Principal Officer for FIU compliances and frontend conversations with law enforcement authorities.
