CoinDCX Bengaluru HQ hosts a strategic analyst role in Corporate Development. You will shape company strategy, build and run a venture investing engine, and drive M&A and integration to accelerate the roadmap.

You will work closely with founders and senior leadership, translating theses into actionable investments and partnerships. The role emphasizes first-principles thinking, rigorous analysis, and deep curiosity about crypto and fintech.

About the Role

This isn't a typical analyst role. Corporate Development sits at the intersection of strategy, venture investing, and M&A - the engine that shapes where CoinDCX plays next and how we get there faster. Crypto is an industry that is rapidly evolving, with limited or no precedent for what we are attempting to build. That makes strategy all the more essential. Imagine sitting in this function in the late 1990s at the companies that were defining what the internet would become - mapping an emerging landscape, forming sharp theses, and placing bets that compound for a decade.

That is the seat you'll occupy here, you will help set company strategy, build and run our venture investing engine across the global blockchain ecosystem, and drive acquisition and integration work that accelerates our roadmap - working shoulder-to-shoulder with founders and senior leadership.

What You'll Do

1. Shape company strategy

• Partner with founders and leadership to define and pressure-test CoinDCX's strategy in a category with limited precedent - where sharp thinking creates durable advantage.
• Research evolving trends across the global blockchain landscape and develop differentiated investment theses; translate them into periodic internal and external publications that sharpen how we and the ecosystem think.

2. Source opportunities & build the pipeline

• Proactively source and identify new investment opportunities across the global blockchain ecosystem.
• Build and sustain a strong, continuous pipeline of high-quality opportunities aligned to our theses.
• Evaluate opportunities end-to-end through market research, product reviews, competitive analysis, metrics analysis, customer/user reviews, and technical diligence - separating signal from hype and forming a clear, defensible view.

4. Build ecosystem relationships

• Develop deep relationships across the broader ecosystem - engineers, founders, influencers, marketing / PR / developer partners, and fellow investors - to build both proprietary deal flow and credibility.
• Monitor the progress of portfolio companies and help them in every way possible - strategy, team-building, and future fundraises.
• Connect portfolio companies to the CoinDCX ecosystem and to one another to unlock compounding value.
• Publish scorecards and progress reports that track portfolio health and surface where support is needed.

6. Execute M&A & integration

• Work with internal stakeholders to identify significant acceleration opportunities through M&A, align stakeholders on potential acquisitions, and closely handhold post-merger integration to ensure value is actually realised.

You'll Excel in This Role If You

• Think in first principles and act like an owner - you build clarity where there is no playbook.
• Have 1 to 3 years of experience and strong analytical and financial rigour, and can pressure-test a thesis, a model, and a claim with equal ease.
• Are genuinely curious about crypto, blockchain, and where technology is heading - and can go deep, fast.
• Communicate with precision and empathy, in writing and in the room, with founders and investors alike.
• Have a bias for action and speed, and stay steady through ambiguity and rapid pivots.
• Build trust quickly and network naturally across a technical, founder-heavy ecosystem.
• (Bonus) Bring experience in venture / M&A / strategy / investment banking, or hands-on exposure to the crypto or fintech ecosystem.

You'll Know You're Winning When

• You've built a live, continuously refreshed pipeline of investment opportunities mapped to clear theses.
• You've published research and investment theses that shape how leadership - and the wider ecosystem - think about where the market is heading.
• You've run diligence on multiple opportunities and driven at least one deal or acquisition materially forward.
• Portfolio scorecards and progress reports are a trusted, recurring input into leadership decisions.
• Founders and leaders come to you as a thought partner on strategy - not just an executor.
