M&G India is seeking a VP – Applied AI Architect to lead the Process Re-engineering CoE in Mumbai. You will architect AI-driven solutions, define governance, and oversee integration with Salesforce and Oracle Fusion to automate complex processes.

You will drive end-to-end delivery of AI-enabled programs, ensuring security, scale, and measurable business impact across asset management and life-insurance domains.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in AI-driven process re-engineering and automation.
• Expertise designing AI architectures and deploying LLM-based solutions.
• Experience integrating enterprise apps (Salesforce, Oracle Fusion) via APIs.
• Strong knowledge of RPA, ML, and MLOps practices.
• Ability to define governance, security, and risk controls for AI programs.

Through telling it like it is, owning it now, and moving it forward together with care and integrity; we are creating an exceptional place to work for exceptional talent. § Decompose complex insurance, asset-management and finance processes and identify deterministic, AI-assisted and human-controlled steps. § Produce current-state and target-state architectures, architecture decision records and non-functional requirements for automation and AI solutions. § Select the appropriate automation mechanism for each problem — rules engine, workflow, RPA, traditional ML, LLM, RAG or human decision — and justify the choice. § Design and build AI solutions using enterprise Copilot capabilities and direct API calls to the leading LLM providers, with a provider-independent abstraction layer. § Engineer secure, permission-aware retrieval (RAG) over enterprise knowledge, preserving source-system permissions and information barriers. § Integrate solutions with systems of record — recordkeeping platforms, Salesforce and Oracle Fusion — via APIs, events and controlled RPA where APIs are unavailable. § Design bounded-autonomy agentic workflows in which a deterministic orchestrator owns process state, approvals, audit and compensation. § Establish AI evaluation frameworks (golden datasets, groundedness, hallucination and regression testing) linked to business KPIs. § Embed responsible-AI, security and financial-services controls: segregation of duties, maker-checker, materiality thresholds, explainability and evidence retention. § Stand up LLMOps/MLOps — versioning, monitoring, cost/FinOps controls, fallback routing and incident management — for production operation. § Baseline processes and prove value realisation using BI, analytics and process mining We have a diverse workforce and an inclusive culture at M&G Global Services, regardless of gender, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, nationality, disability or long term condition, we are looking to attract, promote and retain exceptional people.
