Job summary

Vigyan Ashram in Pune district seeks dedicated trainers to deliver hands-on training in electrical and workshop skills to rural communities. The role includes working with farmers, women groups and local partners to promote self-reliance and entrepreneurship.

You will guide practical sessions, help design activities and support learners with real-world problem solving in reinforcement of skills at the Pabal campus.

Qualifications

• Hands-on electrical fittings, home-appliance repair and basic soldering skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on training to rural students, farmers and WSHG members across Maharashtra.

• Engage parents, community leaders and funding partners for smooth program delivery.
• Plan and execute social media campaigns to boost program visibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver hands-on skills training to rural students, farmers, and Women Self-Help Group (WSHG) members across Maharashtra.
• Partner with grassroots organizations to promote awareness and mobilize students.
• Motivate learners to embrace innovative technologies for self-employment and entrepreneurship.
• Engage stakeholdersincluding parents, community leaders, social sector representatives, and funding partnersfor seamless program execution.
• Design and execute social media campaigns to boost awareness.

Candidate Profile:

• Electrical section: Hans-on & practical working skills in basics of for electrical fittings, home-appliance repair, basic soldering.
• Workshop section: Hans-on & practical working skills in Metal fabrication, sheet-metal bending, CNC.
• Passionate about social change and educational upliftment for rural underprivileged communities.
• Age 20-25 years, with 2+ years in education, vocational/STEM training, rural development, or related fields (freshers with strong hands-on skills and excellent verbal/written communication are welcome).
• ITI or Diploma in Electrical, welding, machine mechanics, CNC etc
