Key tasks include locating and fixing tooling, aligning fixtures, performing first‑piece checks, troubleshooting setups, and documenting setup sheets.

Qualifications

• Experience in mold making and interpreting mold drawings.
• Ability to load CAM programs (Cimatron) and set up tools for VMCs.
• Set up Vertical Machining Centers for core, cavity, electrodes, and mold bases.
• Work with programmers and toolmakers to optimize cutting strategies.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled VMC Operator & Setter with experience in mold making to set up and prepare Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs) for high-precision mold component machining. The ideal candidate will have expertise in interpreting mold drawings, loading CAM programs, setting tools, and ensuring the machine is ready for quality production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up VMC machines for machining core, cavity, electrodes, and mold base components.
• Load and verify CNC programs from Cimatron CAM software.
• Install and align cutting tools, holders, and fixtures with high accuracy.
• Set tool offsets, work coordinates, and adjust machining parameters as per job requirements.
• Perform first-piece inspection using precision measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve setup-related issues before handing over to machine operators.
• Collaborate with programmers and toolmakers to optimize cutting strategies for mold components.
• Ensure machines are maintained, calibrated, and cleaned before and after setup.
• Document setup sheets and maintain tool life records for repeatability.
• Follow safety standards and maintain a clean and organized workstation.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
