Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Virtual Assistant - Social Media Specialist based in India.

This remote role is ideal for a creative and detail-oriented professional who understands how to build engaging digital experiences and strengthen a brand’s presence online. You will manage social media channels, create compelling content, and help shape a consistent and recognizable online voice. The position also combines website management, email marketing, market research, lead generation, and performance analysis. You will have the opportunity to experiment with new ideas, monitor digital trends, and identify opportunities to increase audience engagement. Working independently while collaborating virtually with others, you will play a direct role in growing digital visibility and connecting with target audiences.

Accountabilities:

• Manage and grow social media accounts through strategic, engaging, and on-brand content.
• Create, edit, and publish high-impact content for social platforms, marketing campaigns, blogs, and other digital channels.
• Keep website content accurate, fresh, and relevant through timely updates.
• Plan and execute email marketing campaigns designed to drive engagement, action, and audience loyalty.
• Conduct market and competitor research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and content ideas.
• Develop targeted digital campaigns that support lead generation and audience growth.
• Monitor campaign and content performance and use analytics to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Help shape and maintain a consistent digital brand voice across channels.
• Experiment with creative approaches and emerging social media trends to improve online visibility and engagement.

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of professional experience in social media management, content creation, or a related digital marketing role.
• Proven ability to develop and manage engaging social media content.
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools, email marketing platforms, and content management systems.
• Experience with platforms such as Canva, Hootsuite, Mailchimp, Google Workspace, WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite, or ActiveCampaign, or similar tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Creative mindset with an understanding of digital content, audience engagement, and social media trends.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
• Collaborative approach and ability to communicate effectively with virtual teams.
