Job summary

Dashverse is hiring an all-in-one Video Editor & Motion Graphics Artist to handle production end-to-end—from shooting live-action footage to editing, motion graphics, and compositing AI-generated video into finished pieces.

You will work directly with marketing leadership to create platform-native content across Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube in a hands-on role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience across videography, editing, and motion graphics.
• Experience operating a camera with basic lighting and audio setup.
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent.
• Strong sense of pacing for social platform content.
• Ability to work fast and independently to brief.

Responsibilities

• Shoot live-action footage - talking-head, BTS, product, events, founder content.
• Edit footage into finished content for vertical Reels/Shorts and YouTube.
• Build motion graphics – titles, transitions, lower-thirds, simple animation.
• Composite AI-generated assets with live-action footage.
• Manage production pipeline: planning, assets, version control, turnaround times.
• Adapt content into platform-native cuts with different aspect ratios.

About the Role

We're hiring an all-in-one Video Editor & Motion Graphics Artist to handle production end-to-end - from shooting live-action footage to editing, motion graphics, and compositing AI-generated video into finished pieces. You'll work directly with marketing leadership, turning creative direction into polished, platform-native content across Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube. This is a hands-on production role, not a strategy role - you own how things get made, not what gets made.

Key Responsibilities

• Shoot live-action footage (talking-head, BTS, product, event, founder content) - own the camera, lighting, and audio setup for shoots
• Edit footage into finished content across formats - short-form vertical (Reels/Shorts) and longer-form YouTube
• Build motion graphics - titles, kinetic type, transitions, lower-thirds, simple animation
• Composite and blend AI-generated video/image assets seamlessly with live-action footage in the same edit
• Manage your own production pipeline - shoot planning, asset organization, version control, turnaround times
• Adapt a single piece of content into multiple platform-native cuts (aspect ratio, pacing, captions per platform)

Must Haves

• 2+ years of experience across videography, editing, and motion graphics — this is a generalist role, not a specialist one
• Comfortable operating a camera and basic lighting/audio setup for shoots
• Fluency in an editing suite (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut) and After Effects (or equivalent) for motion graphics
• Strong sense of pacing and platform-native storytelling (what holds attention in the first 3 seconds of a vertical video)
• Ability to work fast and independently against a brief, with minimal hand-holding

Nice to Have

• Experience generating or working with AI video/image tools (Midjourney, Veo, Runway, Higgsfield, or equivalent)
• Color grading and sound design skills
• Experience producing content for an entertainment, media, or consumer app brand
• Your own social presence / creator background
