We are seeking an imaginative Video Editor & Motion Graphics Designer to produce cinematic video assets for Scientific Webs and our enterprise clients. You will transform raw screencasts, interviews, and design assets into high-octane product trailers, feature launch teasers, and captivating YouTube tutorials.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, cut, and polish raw video footage into high-retention video stories, reels, product showcases, and client testimonials.
- Create 2D/3D motion graphics, lower thirds, animated kinetic typography, and interface screen mockups in After Effects.
- Execute professional color grading, audio leveling, noise reduction, and rhythmic sound effects (SFX) mastering.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on storyboarding, pacing, and visual style guides for campaigns.
- Optimize video formats, aspect ratios (9:16 vertical, 16:9 widescreen, 1:1 square), and compression for various web and social platforms.
- Maintain an organized digital media asset library, project templates, and rendering workflows.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of professional video editing and motion graphics experience with a stellar showreel.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Strong sense of pacing, rhythm, visual hierarchy, and music synchronization.
- Knowledge of modern UI animation, screen recording mockups (using tools like Screen Studio or After Effects 3D camera).
- Familiarity with codecs, export profiles (ProRes, H.264, H.265), and platform-specific bitrates.
