Job summary

Alokknight is hiring a full-time video editor intern to create short-form content for our brand and clients. You will edit reels, shorts, product demos, and explainers with captions, b‑roll, and motion text.

The role offers real work on live products, mentorship from the founder, and a potential full-time offer for top performers. This 48-hour-per-week internship runs 3–6 months and can be remote or based in Lucknow.

Qualifications

• Proficient in editing short-form content (Reels/Shorts) with captions, b‑roll and motion text.
• Ability to turn blogs/capers into video scripts/storyboards.
• Strong sense of pacing, hooks and branding for multiple clients.

Responsibilities

• Edit reels and shorts (15–60s) with captions, b‑roll and music.
• Record and edit screen-recorded product demos and walkthroughs.
• Create scripts and storyboards from blog posts and case studies.
• Maintain consistent visual style for our brand and client brands.
• Deliver publish-ready exports for Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and X with thumbnails.

Job description

Create short-form video for our own brand and for the clients whose social media we manage: reels, shorts, product demo walkthroughs and explainer clips. This is a full-time internship (48 hours a week, Monday to Saturday), remote or in Lucknow.

What you'll do

• Edit reels and shorts (15–60 seconds) with captions, b-roll, music and motion text
• Record and edit screen-recorded product demos and feature walkthroughs
• Turn blog posts and case studies into short video scripts and storyboards
• Keep a consistent visual style for our brand and for each client's brand
• Deliver publish-ready exports for Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and X, with thumbnails

How we hire

• A short practical task (a few hours, in your own time)
• A 30-minute video call with the founder
• Offer and start date — usually within a week of the call

• A showreel or 3–5 sample edits (link required)
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut or Final Cut
• A good sense of pacing, hooks and captions for short-form video
• Ability to work from a brief and deliver on a weekly schedule
• Available full-time for 3–6 months: 48 hours a week, Monday to Saturday
