Job summary

Crobstacle invites a sharp-eyed Video Editor + Animator to craft reels, motion graphics, product explainers, podcast highlights, and animated brand content that grabs attention and tells stories visually.

This role focuses on understanding brand tone, transitions, mood, and energy. You will work with the design and content teams at our Dehradun HQ to deliver polished edits under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Must have strong video editing and motion graphics skills with a good eye for storytelling.
• Proficiency in After Effects/Adobe Animate/Blender and basic assets work in Photoshop/Illustrator.
• Experience creating short-form content for social media with quick-turnaround edits.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form content like Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Podcast Cuts.
• Create motion graphics and animated explainers for brands and social media.
• Use stock footage, effects, audio and transitions to elevate storytelling.
• Collaborate with design & content teams to align visuals with brand identity.
• Repurpose raw content into fast-paced, high-retention social edits.
• Add subtitles, visual effects, and intro/outro animations as needed.
• Handle post-production for client and internal projects.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form content like Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Podcast Cuts
• Create motion graphics and animated explainers (for brands, products, social media, etc.)
• Use stock footage, effects, audio & transitions to elevate storytelling
• Work with the design & content teams to align visuals with brand identity
• Repurpose raw content into fast-paced, high-retention social edits
• Add subtitles, visual effects, and intro/outro animations as needed
• Handle post-production for client and internal projects
• Keep up with reel trends, editing styles & transitions that perform

Must-Have Skills

• After Effects / Adobe Animate / Blender
• Photoshop / Illustrator (basic level for assets & overlays)
• Bonus: CapCut, Filmora, Canva (for social-first repurposing)

Selection Process
