Job summary

Cityfurnish is seeking a Video Editor Intern to transform raw footage into compelling social content. You’ll work with founders, marketing, and creative teams to craft campaigns, brand stories, and ads that drive engagement.

The role focuses on social and post-production workflows, including edits for reels and long-form content, with collaboration across departments to maintain brand consistency. On-site in Gurugram, internship 0–6 months.

Qualifications

• 0–6 months of professional video editing experience.
• Prior work with startups, D2C brands, agencies, creators, or content teams is preferred.
• Strong portfolio showcasing short‑form and long‑form content.

Responsibilities

• Create social content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms.
• Edit ad creatives, product videos, testimonials, and brand campaigns.
• Apply color correction, audio cleanup, and basic motion graphics.
• Collaborate with founders and marketing to brainstorm campaigns.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Video Editor Intern who understands internet culture, loves storytelling, and knows how to turn raw footage into content that people stop, watch, and share. This isn’t a traditional editing role. You'll work directly with founders, marketing, and creative teams to build campaigns, ads, social content, and brand stories that drive real business impact.

What you’ll do?

Social & Performance Content

• Create high-quality videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms.
• Edit ad creatives, product videos, testimonials and brand campaigns.
• Transform raw footage into engaging, high-retention videos with compelling storytelling and pacing.

Post-Production Excellence

• Add transitions, captions, sound effects, music, motion graphics, animations, and visual effects.
• Perform color correction, audio cleanup, and final mastering to ensure premium-quality output.
• Organize footage and maintain a structured editing workflow.
• Ensure brand consistency across all content formats.

Creative Ideation

• Stay on top of trends, memes, editing styles, and viral content formats.
• Collaborate with founders and marketing teams to conceptualize campaigns and storytelling angles.
