Job summary

1% Club is seeking a dynamic video editor to craft engaging short-form content for a finance education platform. You will edit reels, ensure premium quality, and tell compelling stories about money management.

You will lead and mentor editors, collaborate with the content team, and produce daily high-effort reels with strong visuals and sound design to boost retention and brand impact.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in short-form video editing, especially reels.
• Understanding of sound design and skit-based storytelling.
• Basic understanding of finance concepts and the ability to visualize them.
• High attention to detail and consistency.
• Leadership mindset with the ability to guide and manage editors.
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of output.

Responsibilities

• Edit organic and brand short-form videos (reels) for Finance With Sharan.
• Ensure edits meet a high-quality, premium, engaging standard.
• Produce 1 high-effort reel per day focused on storytelling, retention, and polish.
• Edit skit-based content with timing, pacing, and sound design control.
• Use sound effects, music, and beats to enhance clarity and impact.
• Create basic finance-related animations and visual explanations for short-form content.
• Maintain consistency with brand style, quality benchmarks and timelines.
• Collaborate with the content team to improve performance and retention.
