Job summary

Beyondskool in Mumbai invites a creative Senior Video Editor Executive to join our on-site team in Santacruz. This 100% editing role focuses on crafting engaging Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and educational content for campaigns and brand communication.

You will handle end-to-end editing, story pacing, transitions, subtitles, motion graphics, color correction, and audio design while collaborating with Marketing to deliver timely videos.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant video editing experience.
• Strong portfolio/showreel mandatory.
• Experience creating social media content, especially Reels and Shorts.
• Own laptop required and on-site work in Santacruz, Mumbai.

Responsibilities

• Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, YouTube videos, promotional videos, educational content, ads, and brand videos.
• Handle the complete editing process from raw footage to final output.
• Create engaging edits with storytelling, pacing, transitions, subtitles, motion graphics, and VFX.
• Perform audio editing, sound design, colour correction, and basic colour grading.
• Repurpose long-form content into engaging short-form videos.
• Stay updated with social media trends and editing styles.
• Collaborate with Marketing & Content teams to develop creative video content.
• Manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality videos within deadlines.

Saturday Timings: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, YouTube videos, promotional videos, educational content, ads, and brand videos.
• Handle the complete editing process from raw footage to final output.
• Create engaging edits with strong storytelling, hooks, pacing, transitions, subtitles, motion graphics, and visual effects.
• Perform audio editing, sound design, colour correction, and basic colour grading.
• Repurpose long-form content into engaging short-form videos.
• Stay updated with social media trends, viral formats, sounds, and editing styles.
• Collaborate with the Marketing & Content teams to develop creative video content.
• Manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality videos within deadlines.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Good knowledge of After Effects for motion graphics.
• Experience with DaVinci Resolve / CapCut is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling, social media content, motion graphics, transitions, audio, and colour correction.
• Creative mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.

Requirements
