Job summary

Buzz Makers, a Mumbai-based digital marketing agency, is seeking a Junior Video Editor to craft engaging content for social channels. You'll collaborate with social media, creative, and marketing teams to translate briefs into compelling visuals.

Proficiency in Premiere Pro and After Effects, plus basic Photoshop/Illustrator, is preferred. The role is full-time, in-office, with fast-paced delivery and a focus on brand storytelling.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience as a Video Editor.
• Experience working with a digital marketing agency will be preferred.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects or other relevant video editing software.
• Basic knowledge of graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is an added advantage.
• Understanding of social media platforms, content formats, and current trends.
• A creative eye for storytelling, pacing, transitions, and visual presentation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects within deadlines.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Responsibilities

• Edit engaging videos for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms.
• Create Reels, short-form videos, promotional videos, brand films, and other social media content.
• Work closely with the social media, creative, and marketing teams to understand briefs and deliver content accordingly.
• Add transitions, graphics, text, music, sound effects, animations, and other creative elements to videos.
• Ensure all videos are aligned with the brand's visual identity and communication style.
• Handle multiple projects and deliver high-quality work within the given timelines.
• Stay updated with the latest video editing styles, social media trends, and content formats.
• Assist in creating simple graphics, thumbnails, text creatives, and other visual elements whenever required.
