The Marketing team drives Wizzer's brand and outreach. They create strategic campaigns, Community building, market research, and content to engage advisors and financial institutions. Their goal is to educate, inform, and connect with our audience, ensuring that Wizzer's value proposition reaches the right people.

About the role

We are looking for a creative and execution-focused Video Editor & Content Production Lead who can take ownership of our YouTube and digital content production ecosystem. This role goes beyond editing. It requires someone who understands how digital content works, audience retention mechanics, and how to structure content for growth. The ideal candidate is technically strong in editing, contributes to ideation and scripting structure, and ensures smooth execution of studio recordings. You will work closely with the founders and creative team to drive consistent, high-quality output across long-form and short-form platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Video Editing & Post-Production: Edit long-form YouTube videos, podcasts, and educational content with strong storytelling and structured pacing. Create engaging short-form content (Reels, Shorts, Clips) from long-form recordings. Enhance videos with motion graphics, animated text, data visuals, transitions, and effects. Ensure high-quality audio output including noise reduction, leveling, and sound enhancement. Maintain consistency in brand tone, style, and visual identity. Deliver polished outputs within defined timelines.
• Content Ideation & Structuring: Contribute to content brainstorming and planning discussions. Assist in structuring episodes for clarity, engagement, and retention. Support script refinement with focus on hooks, storytelling flow, and CTA placement. Suggest improvements based on performance insights and audience behavior.
• Channel & Studio Coordination: Support smooth execution of studio recordings and live setups. Assist with title structuring, description formatting, and basic YouTube optimization. Monitor content performance metrics and help identify areas of improvement. Ensure production workflows are organized and scalable.

Required qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on video editing experience.
• Demonstrated experience editing long-form YouTube content.
• Ability to manage projects independently while collaborating closely with leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in Media, Film, Communication, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Portfolio showcasing YouTube or digital content work is mandatory.

Preferred skills

• Experience managing or editing for a YouTube creator or digital brand.
• Exposure to finance, trading, or educational content.
• Understanding of audience retention strategies and content growth.
• Familiarity with AI-based editing or content tools.
• Experience in contributing beyond execution — ideation, structure, and optimization.
• Comfortable handling studio production logistics and live setup environments.
• Adobe After Effects (or equivalent motion graphics tools)
• Adobe Audition (or similar audio editing tools)
• Basic YouTube Studio & analytics tools
