Job summary

ownpath Studios is seeking an Associate Video Editor to craft engaging video content across our work, brand, and community. You’ll collaborate with design, creative, and growth teams to turn ideas and footage into compelling narratives adaptable for social, campaigns, case studies, events, and brand storytelling.

You should have 1–3 years in editing or related roles, a strong eye for pacing and storytelling, and proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in video editing or a related creative role.
• Strong understanding of editing, pacing, composition, and visual storytelling.
• Proficiency in tools such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent.
• Good understanding of typography, transitions, music, and sound in video.
• Strong visual taste and attention to detail.
• Ability to work across different visual styles and content formats.
• A portfolio/showreel that demonstrates your editing and storytelling skills.
• Curiosity and willingness to experiment with new tools and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form and long-form video content for social, campaigns, case studies, events, and brand storytelling.
• Work with designers and creative leads to translate ideas and briefs into compelling video narratives.
• Edit footage, create transitions, work with typography, sound, music, and basic motion graphics.
• Adapt content across formats such as 16:9, 1:1, and 9:16.
• Support the production of reels, social content, client stories, event films, and internal content.
• Organise footage, project files, assets, and final deliverables efficiently.
• Explore new editing techniques, formats, and AI-assisted creative workflows.
• Take feedback well and iterate quickly while maintaining a high bar for quality.

ownpath Studios is looking for an Associate Video Editor to help us create engaging video content across our work, brand, and community.

You’ll work closely with our design, creative, and growth teams to turn ideas, footage, and concepts into well-crafted video content. This could include social media content, case studies, event content, brand films, reels, and behind-the-scenes stories.

This role is ideal for someone who has a strong eye for visual storytelling, understands pacing and composition, and is excited to experiment with different formats, styles, and emerging tools.
