The role requires 3–4 years of editing experience, proficiency in Premiere Pro/Final Cut/DaVinci Resolve, and a strong showreel in digital media. Mumbai-based, on-site position with high-velocity content timelines.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly creative and culturally clued-in Video Editor to drive the post-production of our original fiction and non-fiction micro-dramas. It is imperative to understand the unique pulse of vertical storytelling and know exactly how to keep audiences hooked.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and Assemble: Deliver fast-paced, high-retention fiction and non-fiction micro-dramas optimized specifically for vertical app viewing.
• Master the Pacing: Apply a deep understanding of short-form narrative structure to ensure every second drives the story forward and maximizes viewer retention.
• Audio & Trend Integration: Source and seamlessly integrate trending Gen Z music, viral sounds, and impactful sound design to elevate the content's emotional and cultural resonance.
• Collaborate: Work closely with the content and production teams to execute visual concepts from rough cut to final delivery.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: Up to 5-6 years of professional video editing experience, ideally in digital media, short films, or social-first content.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong command of industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
• Format Expertise: Proven understanding of vertical storytelling dynamics, micro-drama pacing, and mobile content consumption habits.
• Cultural Pulse: A keen ear and natural instinct for the latest music and audio trends currently dominating the Gen Z space.
• Portfolio: A strong reel showcasing narrative storytelling, snappy pacing, and vertical format expertise.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in entertainment, celebrity, lifestyle, fashion, or digital media brands.
• Experience creating show packages, channel branding assets, and promotional campaigns.
• Knowledge of Cinema 4D, Blender, or 3D motion design tools is a strong advantage.
• Understanding of AI-powered creative tools and workflows.
• Experience handling podcast and video-first content ecosystems.
