Weekday AI is seeking a Video Editor to convert master content into captivating short-form videos with standout animations. You will also craft covers and social posts, collaborating with India's top creative and marketing professionals.

As an early-stage role, you will have the opportunity to build and lead a strong team, work remotely from India, and shape the creative output across multiple formats while adhering to brand guidelines.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio highlighting editing diverse content into short-form videos with outstanding animation.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Descript, or similar tools.
• Excellent animation and visual storytelling abilities with a keen eye for detail and creativity.

As a Video Editor, you will take charge of converting master content into captivating short-form videos featuring outstanding animations. Additionally, you will create visually striking covers and posts for various social media platforms. Roles & Responsibilities

• Edit primary content such as podcasts into engaging short-form videos featuring high-quality animations.
• Design visually appealing social media covers and posts to strengthen brand visibility.
• Edit and compile raw footage, incorporating special effects, animations, and sound to produce polished, captivating videos.
• Work on a variety of content forms including podcasts, events, original social media content, and showreels.
• Ensure all video edits comply with our brand guidelines and quality standards.
• Handle multiple projects concurrently, consistently meeting deadlines and delivering top-quality work.
• Review and proof video content to ensure it meets quality expectations and project objectives.
• Create effective and creative thumbnails for the video content produced.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio highlighting expertise in editing diverse content into short-form videos with outstanding animation.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Descript, or similar tools.
• Excellent animation and visual storytelling abilities, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
• Capability to work both collaboratively within a team and independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively share creative ideas and concepts.
• Experience in creating essential static graphics such as thumbnails and social media carousel posts.
• Knowledge of social media platforms and their specific video requirements, including Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
