Desai and Companies is seeking a skilled Video Editor for a full-time, on-site role. You will handle both short-form and long-form content, work with AI-assisted workflows, and apply modern content styles to engage audiences.

You will edit raw footage, manage pacing, add captions and sound, follow brand guidelines, and deliver polished videos on tight deadlines. A strong portfolio and excellent English communication are essential.

• 3+ years of professional video-editing experience, with international projects.
• Strong portfolio showing both short-form and long-form editing.
• Excellent storytelling, pacing, sound design, motion graphics.
• Good written English and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage, scripts, voiceovers, and briefs into polished, engaging videos
• Handle pacing, storytelling, captions, B-roll, transitions, motion graphics, music, and sound effects
• Perform audio cleanup, colour correction, and basic colour grading
• Create engaging hooks and maintain viewer attention throughout the video
• Follow brand guidelines and implement feedback accurately
• Organize project files and assets properly and deliver work within deadlines
• Repurpose long‑form content into short‑form social media content when required

Job description

We are looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling both short-form and long-form video editing, understand modern content styles, and be able to use AI tools to improve the creative and production process.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

• Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other short-form content
• Long-form YouTube videos, interviews, podcasts, educational and promotional content
• UGC, testimonial, talking-head, and paid advertising creatives
• Voiceover-led videos using footage, stock assets, and AI-generated visuals
• Multiple hooks, variations, and creative versions from the same footage or brief

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Edit raw footage, scripts, voiceovers, and briefs into polished, engaging videos

TOOLS & AI

Strong working knowledge of professional editing software such as:

• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Adobe After Effects
• CapCut
• DaVinci Resolve or equivalent

Experience with AI-powered creative tools is highly preferred, including tools such as Higgsfield, Google Veo, Sora, Runway, Kling, ElevenLabs, other AI voice tools, AI image-generation tools, and other emerging AI video platforms.

You should be comfortable learning and adopting new AI tools as they become part of our workflow.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of professional video-editing experience, Have Experience in International Projects
• Strong portfolio demonstrating both short-form and long-form editing
• Good understanding of storytelling, pacing, sound design, motion graphics, and visual composition
• Experience with social media and advertising content
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently from a brief
• Good written English and clear communication
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Willingness to work full-time from our office
