Job summary

Desai and Companies in Surat seeks an experienced video editor to craft engaging short- and long-form content for international projects across social media and promotional formats.

You will edit, color correct, add motion graphics, manage audio, and ensure adherence to brand guidelines while meeting deadlines. Proficiency in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve and familiarity with AI tools to accelerate workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage, scripts, voiceovers, and briefs into polished, engaging videos
• Handle pacing, storytelling, captions, B-roll, transitions, motion graphics, music, and sound effects
• Perform audio cleanup, colour correction, and basic colour grading
• Create engaging hooks and maintain viewer attention throughout the video
• Follow brand guidelines and implement feedback accurately
• Organize project files and assets properly and deliver work within deadlines
• Repurpose long-form content into short-form social media content when required

Job description

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

• Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other short-form content
• Long-form YouTube videos, interviews, podcasts, educational and promotional content
• UGC, testimonial, talking-head, and paid advertising creatives
• Voiceover-led videos using footage, stock assets, and AI-generated visuals
• Multiple hooks, variations, and creative versions from the same footage or brief

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Edit raw footage, scripts, voiceovers, and briefs into polished, engaging videos

Handle pacing, storytelling, captions, B-roll, transitions, motion graphics, music, and sound effects

Perform audio cleanup, colour correction, and basic colour grading

Create engaging hooks and maintain viewer attention throughout the video

Follow brand guidelines and implement feedback accurately

Organize project files and assets properly and deliver work within deadlines

Repurpose long-form content into short-form social media content when required

TOOLS & AI

Strong working knowledge of professional editing software such as:

• Adobe Premiere Pro
• DaVinci Resolve or equivalent

Experience with AI-powered creative tools is highly preferred, including tools such as Higgsfield, Google Veo, Sora, Runway, Kling, ElevenLabs, other AI voice tools, AI image-generation tools, and other emerging AI video platforms.

You should be comfortable learning and adopting new AI tools as they become part of our workflow.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of professional video-editing experience, Have Experience in International Projects
• Good understanding of storytelling, pacing, sound design, motion graphics, and visual composition
• Experience with social media and advertising content
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently from a brief
• Good written English and clear communication
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
