Job summary

Imagicaaworld Entertainment seeks a skilled Video Editor with 4–6 years of experience to craft high-impact YouTube videos, Shorts, Reels, and ads. You will handle photography, videography, and drone work for campaigns and events, ensuring top-quality visuals across platforms.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Content, Design, and Creative teams to deliver compelling stories, plan shoots, and manage assets with strict timelines.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of relevant experience in Video Editing, Photography, and Videography.
• Proven portfolio across YouTube, Instagram Reels, Shorts, digital ads, performance videos, and branded content.
• Strong hands-on experience with professional cameras and video production equipment.
• Experience in drone photography/videography will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Edit YouTube videos, Shorts, Instagram Reels, ads, promotional and performance videos.
• Create engaging, performance-driven video creatives for marketing campaigns.
• Optimise content per platform formats, trends, and audience behaviour.
• Add transitions, effects, motion graphics, sound design, and colour correction to enhance quality.
• Handle end-to-end photography and videography for campaigns, events, parks, attractions, and social content.
• Plan and execute shoots independently based on creative briefs.
• Work with Marketing, Content, Design, and Creative teams to meet campaigns and content needs.
• Deliver projects within defined timelines and maintain proper file management.
• Stay updated with social media trends, editing styles, and emerging tech.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Video Editor with expertise in editing YouTube videos, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, ad creatives, and performance videos. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of storytelling, visual content, photography, videography, and camera handling. Experience with drone operations will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

1. Video Editing & Digital Content

• Edit YouTube videos, Shorts, Instagram Reels, ads, promotional and performance videos.
• Create engaging, performance-driven video creatives for marketing campaigns.
• Optimise content as per platform-specific formats, trends, and audience behaviour.
• Add transitions, effects, motion graphics, sound design, and colour correction to enhance visual quality.

2. Photography & Videography

• Handle end-to-end photography and videography for campaigns, events, parks, attractions, and social media content.
• Capture high-quality photos and videos with a strong understanding of composition, framing, lighting, and visual storytelling.
• Plan and execute shoots independently based on creative briefs.

3. Camera & Equipment Handling

• Good hands-on experience in operating DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, professional video cameras, action cameras, gimbals, and other production equipment.
• Knowledge of camera settings, lenses, lighting, sound, and basic production setup.
• Drone handling and aerial videography experience will be an added advantage.

4. Storytelling & Content Quality

• Develop visually compelling content aligned with the brand's creative direction and storytelling objectives.
• Ensure consistency in visual quality, tone, branding, and overall production standards.
• Experiment with creative formats and new editing techniques.

5. Collaboration & Delivery

• Work closely with Marketing, Content, Design, and Creative teams to execute campaigns and content requirements.
• Understand briefs, incorporate feedback, and deliver projects within defined timelines.
• Manage and organise video/photo assets and maintain proper file management.

6. Trends & Innovation

• Stay updated with the latest social media trends, editing styles, content formats, photography, videography, and emerging technologies.
• Continuously explore new creative approaches to improve engagement and content performance.
