Job summary

Akalp Techno Media Solutions is seeking a creative Video Editor to produce engaging video content for social media, YouTube, campaigns, and other digital channels. You will edit footage, add graphics, and ensure content aligns with brand guidelines.

Ideal candidates have a degree or diploma in Video Editing or related fields and a strong portfolio. Proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Video Editing, Multimedia, Animation, Mass Communication, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications and a strong portfolio/showreel will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into high-quality videos for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms.
• Create short-form content such as Reels, Shorts, and promotional videos.
• Add motion graphics, transitions, text animations, subtitles, and visual effects where required.
• Perform colour correction, colour grading, and audio enhancement.
• Collaborate with content creators, social media managers, and designers to deliver platform-optimized content.
• Organise and manage video assets, project files, and backups.
• Ensure all videos meet brand guidelines and quality standards.
• Deliver projects within agreed timelines and handle multiple editing assignments simultaneously.
• Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, tools, and platform best practices.
• Assist in basic video shooting and content planning when required.
