Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional video editing experience.
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, After Effects for patching artifacts and stabilising generated footage.
• Hands-on experience with AI video generation tools (Kling, Veo, Runway, Sora, Higgsfield, Luma)
• Prompting fluency grounded in production knowledge: camera language, lighting and continuity.
• Strong eye for color, texture, light quality and on-screen readability.
• Ability to take direction, manage revisions and meet deadlines.
• Experience delivering platform-specific assets for Meta, Instagram, YouTube and retail media.

Palettier is a content studio that creates AI videos for brands.

We're looking for a video editor who works with generative AI tools as part of their normal workflow. You'll take a brief and produce finished video, generating footage with AI models, editing it, and delivering to spec.

Responsibilities

Editing

• Translate briefs and scripts into shot lists, reference frames and finished video
• Edit, cut and pace video; add captions, motion text, music and sound design
• Colour correct and grade for a consistent look across a set
• Blend AI-generated footage with client-supplied photography, live footage and 3D renders
• Produce multiple variants from one approved shot structure, and deliver in the aspect ratios each platform needs
• Hold brand consistency and visual continuity across every asset in a delivery
• Deliver videos per month to quality standard under defined turnaround timelines
• Generate and refine footage using AI video tools, iterating until output matches the brief
• Build and refine prompting frameworks and style references that the studio reuses
• Test new tools and workflows, and bring the ones that hold up into production
• Manage files, versions and project hygiene so work is traceable and reusable

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional video editing experience
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, After Effects. Patching artifacts, masking, stabilising and frame fixes on generated footage
• Hands-on experience with AI video generation tools: Kling, Veo, Runway, Sora, Higgsfield, Luma or similar
• Prompting fluency grounded in production knowledge: camera language (lens choice, shot type, movement), lighting, motion direction and scene continuity.
• A real eye for surface and light: colour accuracy, material and texture rendering, light quality, and how a product should read on screen
• The critical judgment to evaluate AI output against a standard
• Able to take direction and act on revisions without friction
• Able to run several projects in parallel and hit deadlines
• Solid understanding of platform-specific delivery requirements across Meta, Instagram, YouTube and retail media environments
