Job summary

New Media Holding in Maharashtra, India, is seeking a Mid-Senior Video Editor with strong storytelling instincts to edit AI-generated micro-dramas and branded content for fast-paced, mobile-first platforms.

You will craft hooks, pacing, and endings, select the best footage, fix AI-video issues, and collaborate with creative, production, influencer, and brand teams across multiple projects in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional video-editing experience in digital, advertising, branded content, social media, entertainment, or similar environments.
• Proven experience editing brand reels, influencer reels, social-first content, and digital campaigns.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creative editing, storytelling, pacing, and audience retention.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong understanding of social media editing, trends, hooks, transitions, music sync, captions, and visual storytelling.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted video and post-production workflows.
• Good understanding of sound editing and colour correction.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.

Responsibilities

• Edit live-action and AI-generated content and micro-drama episodes.
• Edit brand reels, influencer reels, social media videos, and branded content.
• Create strong hooks, pacing, emotional peaks, reveals, and endings.
• Select footage to maximise audience retention.
• Maintain visual, character, costume, lighting, and continuity consistency.
• Identify and fix common AI-video issues such as lip-sync, facial inconsistencies, flickering, warping, and continuity errors.
• Handle compositing, masking, tracking, cleanup, reframing, colour correction, and other post-production tasks.
• Handle basic sound editing, music, ambience, Foley, and sound effects.
• Work closely with creative, production, influencer, and brand teams.
• Manage multiple projects, revisions, and deadlines while maintaining organised project files.
