MarkCos Agency is seeking a full-time Video Editor in the Kolkata metropolitan area to edit marketing and branding content for social media, digital ads, and promotional materials. You will assemble raw footage, refine narratives, add transitions, sync audio, and deliver final formats.

Collaborating with creative, marketing, and account teams, you will ensure brand guidelines are followed, contribute to storyboards, and maintain an organized video archive.

Qualificações

• Strong skills in video editing and video production for marketing and branding content.
• Video color grading and basic graphics to ensure cohesive, high-quality visuals.
• Motion graphics and graphics for engaging titles, lower thirds, and visual elements.
• Proficiency with industry-standard editing software and motion graphics tools (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects).
• Ability to follow creative briefs, work with brand guidelines, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a portfolio demonstrating relevant video work.
• Effective communication and collaboration with creative and marketing teams.
• Relevant education or training in film, media, design is preferred but not mandatory.

Role Description

The Video Editor is a full-time, on-site role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. This role involves editing video content for a variety of marketing and branding campaigns, including social media, digital ads, and promotional materials. Day-to-day responsibilities include assembling raw footage, refining narratives, adding transitions and effects, synchronizing audio, and preparing final deliverables in required formats. The Video Editor will collaborate closely with the creative, marketing, and account teams to interpret briefs, maintain brand guidelines, and ensure that all video content supports campaign objectives. The role may also involve contributing to storyboarding, suggesting visual concepts, and maintaining an organized archive of video assets.
